LaConner Tulip Festival & Parade Drive up to the Farmhouse Inn near LaConner where at 12:00 we will join Majestic Glass Corvette Club, Corvettes Unlimited (Bellingham) and Corvette Marque Club of Seattle for a caravan over to LaConner. We will stage the cars for the parade at 1:00 PM at the LaConner School District parking lot and the parade starts at 2:00 PM. Afterwards, explore the tulip fields or stop for early dinner. Gather at |
University Place Duck Parade. Every year on the first Saturday in June the University Place community gets together for the annual Duck Daze celebration. The event began about 11 years ago when TCC member Dixie Harris and Terry Reim, founders of the University Place Farmers Market, felt that they needed an event to celebrate the end of the rainy season, as well as, the wonderful improvements to Bridgeport Way. The yellow duck was adopted as the symbol of the parade and is now a community mascot. |
