Tour of "America's Car Museum" Please join TCC as we tour the America’s Car Museum next to the Tacoma Dome. Discount tickets are $12/person cash, free for museum members. Corvettes have preferred free parking on the pavilion near the front door. They are holding tickets for our group, so we need to pay cash individually the day of the event. Explore the wonderful and varied cars in the Museum at our own pace then we will caravan to lunch at the world-famous Poodle Dog Restaurant in Fife, a place that must be experienced for itself. | Questions? University Place Duck Daze Parade. Every year on the first Saturday in June the University Place community gets together for the annual Duck Daze celebration. The event began about 13 years ago when TCC member Dixie Harris and Terry Reim, founders of the University Place Farmers Market, felt that they needed an event to celebrate the end of the rainy season, as well as, the wonderful improvements to Bridgeport Way. The yellow duck was adopted as the symbol of the parade and is now a community mascot. This is an important and fun event and one that everyone should plan to attend. We will be taking City Council members along for the ride. |

This trip involves more mileage than usual, but the route includes great scenery and a lunch stop in Morton, WA. Drive down on the back roads will take approximately 3 hours and about 2.5 hours back on the expressway.
