Since 1965 the City of Auburn has been honoring veterans and the active military. The parade began with the C-17 Globemaster fly-over, which is coordinated through Joint Base Lewis - McChord and hosted over 200 units, with more than 5,500 spectators. Marching bands, military and veteran units, military vehicles and equipment, historic cars and community groups were included in the mile-long parade.
